Missio & the MCAP
As the landscape of Western culture changes in profound and complicated ways, the Church is being constantly presented with new challenges and opportunities. The Church must, as it has so many times in the past, make striking changes in its view of itself, its methods of serving, and its way of becoming God’s faithful expression of the Good News.
Missio empowers leaders to effectively engage their culture with the transformational news of Christ. Led by the authors of The Tangible Kingdom, Missio apprentices people and communities of mission.
If you’ve read the book, you probably already picked up much of the philosophy of Missio. In so doing, you may be interested in the Missional Church Apprenticeship Practicum (MCAP (link Missio site / Get Involved page)), which is a nine-month online apprenticeship designed to give church planters, pastors and ordinary missional leaders the training they need to step into the missional life God is calling them to.
