What We’re Not About
We’re not a deconstructive movement: Some deconstruction is helpful and necessary in order to gain clarity on God’s prophetic call for the church but we don’t think it’s healthy to stay there too long.
We’re not form specific: Missio support any new expression of church that seeks to be an incarnational presence of the gospel. The focus of our training, consulting, coaching, & encouragement is about the missiological posture, practices, and principles of cultural engagement, community formation, and appropriate congregational structures.
We’re not theologically divisive: As the church struggles to make peace with it’s past; and forge new faithful expressions into the future, Missio seeks to work with any orthodox Christian leader, church, or movement. We are not exclusively emergent, traditional, organic, simple, house, mega, evangelical, reformed or any other type of church.
We value the contributions of all to God’s church in the 21st century and we believe the contributions, passion, errors, and callings of these distinctive streams do help us seek God’s heart for His church.
